Self Starter or Self Stopper?!

This is one of those times where, I try to help others, and in turn get more than I bargained for!!! I really love when that happens, but I hate it too...I mean, who am I to tell someone something when I myself am learning about what I am talking about?!

Anyway, I was getting ready for a Scentsy Training call (that I get to do TOMORROW - EEEEEK) and the title/theme is Are you a Self Starter or a Self Stopper. It goes on to say all the ways that you can pretty much sabotage your business, or make it successful - all in your outlook on things. Example: A Self Stopper would be the negative Nelly, the one who complains about everything...life isn't good enough, sales suck this month, no one wants to buy from you....but the Self Starter is upbeat about life, never (or rarely) complains, even when others would, when things are getting rough they take a step back and figure out what to do differently to make a change. I realized that this is definitely something that can be taken to heart in ALL aspects of life. I mean, with weight loss, are you the negative person who always complains, see's a 1 pound loss on the scale, and is disappointed in that 1 pound, or are you that person who is thankful you have the ability to TRY to loose weight, and is super excited to lose that 1 pound?! The list could go on and on in different areas in my life. I find myself being negative a LOT in certain areas, but confident in others. I need to focus on being positive and confident in myself, and everything I do!! So, starting today, I am going to strive to not be negative, even when that seems like how things are going. I am going to rejoice in all situations, and be thankful that I have the means to be in that place and time - and what better time to come to this realization that right before November, the month where we are supposed to reflect on what we are Thankful for!!! :)

Today, I am Thankful for waking up early to go to work. I am Thankful that I have the ability to work, AND take my kids with me. I am Thankful that I am able to do all the little things that we take for granted. I am MOST Thankful for my Kids, Husband, and Family who are my rocks to keep me grounded. :)

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you have a very blessed day!! :))
