Well, this is my first blog, EVER! I've never done one of these before, but I decided now was a good time to start, and maybe someone can offer inspiration - or can be inspired.
So, the purpose of this blog is to track my activities in my journey to be healthier and fit! As a mommy to 2 wonderful, albeit patience testing, children, I have definitely let my body go. It's time to reclaim what is mine, and take control again!
My goal is to be back into my pre-2nd pregnancy jeans by my son's 1st birthday at the end of March, with my ultimate goal being into my pre-1st pregnancy jeans by October 2012. I know I can do this, but I can't do it without making myself accountable. So, this is me holding myself accountable.
I will be utilizing this blog as a means of tracking my workouts, eating, cravings, frustrations, etc. I will start it off by saying that today - I fell off the wagon!!!!! I've been trying to eat healthier for about 2 weeks now, but my weakness seems to get the best of me every time!! I am addicted to these amazing burritos in town, and as much as I realize that putting that greasy, fatty, salty burrito into my body is doing more harm than good, I had to give in! I felt guilty all day about it, but kept making poor food choices!! While I did eat tuna for lunch, I ended up eating probably 4-5 servings of Kettle Cooked Jalapeno Chips along with it.
I need to find something to do while I am at work to keep the boredom eating at bay! I have noticed that when I am bored, I eat. So, I think if I can keep my hands busy, I won't have time to think about snacking!!!
Tomorrow I go pay for my year long gym membership! It's 24-hour access, so fingers crossed this helps to get rid of those excuses - and they allow children to attend with you when you do the Zumba classes!! (SCORE!)
I will update later with how that is going, but for now, I am off to cuddle with my daughter since she's insisting on it right, this, second!! :)
